We performed 4 rounds of the following exercises:

1)    Spiderman Push Ups
2)    Iso Lunge  Band Pullovers/Flutters
3)    Slide Out Variations
4)    Cross Body Mountain Climbers
5)    Side Plank with Band Presses

The best part about this workout was that we really trained the entire body and cranked up the metabolism while dominating the abs in an unconventional way.   The most effective way to train the core and abs is training it to work with the rest of the body and not in isolation.  You may not feel the “burn” during the workout but I promise that you will feel it the next morning when you get out of bed!

The abs have a true function of stabilizing the spine.  The more control you have over your spine and core the better you move and function.  The better you move and function the harder and more effectively you can perform other movements.  The more intensity you can provide for your workouts the better your fat loss results.  The better your fat loss results, the more your abs start to show.
