Hey Bj
Ok i hope this is not to broad of a question but it is one i am def struggling with right now as business is picking up!
My camps right now are rocking and as you said i am doing everything myself!
HOW DO I GO ABOUT taking the 1st step to opening up my 2nd location as well as find good people to work for me!
I have gone over the section in BCBP but am still kind of overwhelmed and dont want to jump into it and sacrifice my current sucess!
Thank in advance

Hey BJ,
I want to learn an automated way of converting trial campers to clients.
Cheers,

I am currently in big demand in 2 sections of Tucson other than my main location. Number one-what are the most important hings to look for when hiring a trainer and number 2- With automator will I be able toi make my own workouts to send to them?
Hey BJ, My question is similar to Dave and Ron’s (and probably many other boot camp owners), What have been the best methods that you have used to find trainers to run your camps (former clients, news paper, etc…). Our camps are located in a rural western Nebraska so its a little bit harder to find trainers out here. Thanks for the help!
I am new to you and your products. I currently bought Boot Camp Dynamite, LOVE IT!
ALL of my clients TOTALLY love Spartacus! I can see how you and your methods could help my business tremendously. I would like to learn more about Boot Camp
Blueprint .I cannot wait to find out more about Boot Camp Automator~ it would be a godsend! It’s 1:30am and Im just now writing up a workout for camp at 5:30am!
HELP!
I am a little confused about how it works… When we get the monthly updates, do we get workouts AND music or use the workouts with our current workout muse products?
Are the workouts periodized over the entire year or just progressive within each month?
How many workouts are provide each month? For instance, I run 7 workouts per week on 5 days (thus 5 unique workouts per week) currently.
That’s all! Good job on another amazing creation!
Hey BJ,
I have 1 current boot camp location, which I started in October. I just finalized a location for 2 more classes in a different area of town, which will begin on Feb.8th. What I am finding though is that I’m not sure what i should do for a “pre-launch.” Should I shoot for some human billboards? Flyers? A lot of the “in-person” stuff is tough to do because I stay at home with my 2 years old son during most peoples’ “working hours.”
I’m just curious as to what you would recommend to get some people into the classes from Day 1.
Casey
1 other question…
For BC Automator, is it usable without a smart phone? I don’t have one, nor do any of the potential instructors I have lined up.
Casey
Hi BJ,
Man you really have outdone yourself again. Bootcamp Automator looks fantastic. Here is my question: Do the workouts vary in particular method(s) of training? For example are there “strength day” workouts, “metabolic fat loss” , slower “bodyweight/yoga” based workouts etc.? How much choice do we have in the workout formats? Thanks BJ:-)

Help, my boot camp sucks! (sound familiar?
My first boot camps had 50 sign ups last April, and have slowly been dwindling but now staying steady at 30. I want to expand…what are your thoughts about setting up boot camp contracts for 6-12 months?
I would like to know the easiest way to convert my clients that do 1 hour sessions, into just half an hour sessions….
*Will the bootcamp automator be blackberry compatible and/or web-based for those without the iPhone?
*What equipment, if any, will the workouts require?
*How much would you recommend paying bootcamp trainers for 30-minute sessions?
Thanks
P.S. Please tell “Interval Man” I said hi
I guess I just want to know how bootcamp automator can help make my business run more smoothly.
Do you plan on incorporating any business systems into this in the future. (Employee Handbooks, done for you stuff?)
Thanks BJ! I love workout muse so far and I’m sure this will take it to the next level!
The boot camp automator is exactly what I need! But I have so many questions!
How many workouts do you give out in a week?
Do you provide music along with it?
Are the workouts progressive and do they provide levels for beginners to advanced?
Is it something that I can use with my phone?(
Or Is it only acessible through iphone?
How do we send workouts to our trainers? Email or do they have acess to the program too?
And of course , what nobody has asked yet, how much does it cost?
What are the most difficult things about hiring others to work your other bootcamp locations?
What is the most important aspect in hiring others to run your bootcamps?
Thanks BJ,
Steve
BJ,
With Automator, how do you share the program with your trainers? Is the system Google phone compatible? Is there a marketing system provided with the program? Last;y, is the monthly cost only for the boss or that also includes the trainers that we share it with? In other words, is there a extra cost to share the system with your staff?
You are doing our industry a great service with your inovative products. Keep up the good work!
Hey BJ
I have multiple opportunities to really drive my bootcamps throught the roof especially now because i have a young energetic coach that is willing to jump in with both feet!
I am primarily a youth sports training business that currently just dabbles with training adults. I want to increase the adult training to offer more opportunities for community youth to get healthy! So here are some of my questions.
Is it based off of your model of 30 minute workouts or is it flexible and adaptable for different situations, numbers, space, equipment, time etc.?
If I have a newer coach doing the bootcamps how flexible are the training programs?
How easy will it be to follow for a “newer” coach?
How long will it take to implement?
Can this be used for youth boot camps?
BJ your the man!

What variables/parameters does the automator allow the designer to customize? Duration (i.e. 30, 45, or 60 min)? Intensity (beginners vs. athletes)? Could it generate a bootcamp session that stresses a certain bodypart (arms vs legs) or one that excludes certain exercises (i.e. a session with no plyometric jumping or no pushups)? Do the sessions generated include modifications to increase or decrease difficulty for clients of differing levels, or are the session leaders expected to know modifications? Can the designer input what equipment is available or whether they are indoor vs. outdoor sessions? Does it design individual stand-alone sessions or can it generate an integrated 4 or 6-week progressively more difficult program?
What equipment is required to run boot camp automator? What if people want an hour long workout? Thanks!
What has been the most successful way to market bootcamps…to expand on that. What is the key to getting people’s attention so that I can build my bootcamps to 30+ people?
BJ,
I am VERY interested in the Bootcamp Automator program and would love to win a FREE copy. I started my own “Underground” semi-private small group training fitness business three months ago. In that time, I have completely revamped how I was doing things and will begin using Workout Muse next month to help make my workouts more efficient and effective while developing a “systems-based business.”
I like the idea of Bootcamp Automator, however, my biggest concern is that we use more than body weight exercises in our training. Unlike many boot camps that use body weight and minimal equipment, we use a mix of body weight, barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, sandbags, bands, medicine balls, sleds and more! I’m setting up our training template in a very similar style that you use with Workout Muse, but we use equipment.
From what I’ve seen so far, Bootcamp Automator only seems geared toward those not using equipment. Is that true? Or can it be used for those of us that use equipment?
Thanks!
I am just starting a bootcamp with my local church members as my base market (>5000 members). As a newbie to the profession, will the tools in bootcamp automator be past my starting point?
Hey BJ
How much flexibility is there with the program design. I have 2 bootcamps on back to back days, currently Monday is fullbody and Tues is focused on core.
Is there a way to change up the workout focus each day??
thanks
Lee
BJ,
As an owner of a PT studio that runs a bootcamp program (max 10 people) indoors I don’t actually run the classes and I am constantly working with the trainers to try and get the clients pumped and spreading the gospel. Does BCA help with that? Also we allow them to design their own workouts within parameters how can BCA help us keep things fresh but not totally crazy.
Talk to you on Tuesday!
Nikki
1) Does the program come with the music, solo, or is there a combo deal?
How often will new workouts be added
2) Are workouts and music matched up or does one select the any music with the appropriate interval seq?
3) Are workouts planned for a calendar month 5 days a week and progressive with various targets..ie( Core, Yoga, etc) and changing within that week….or do we just grab any WOD and use it in the day we want
a) because I make use of not only BW exercises but also KB, TRX, Logs, Sandbags, Tires etc…will I have the flexibility to add various tools?
4)Does the music and /or workouts include warmups and cooldowns
5) What is the cost..monthly or a flat fee?
6) How often will these workouts be added to?
7) How do the trainers obtain the workouts..hotsynch, downloads, i-apps
Thanks
Kathi
One more thing….should someone have to miss the call..will it be recorded for access later?
Hey BJ,
I run 15 boot camp classes every week, each being an hour long. That’s 60 every month. I try to make every single workout different. Is the Boot Camp Automator a data base of complete workouts, or a complete data base of exercises that you mix and match, or both?
Thanks
can we program our own music and workouts using BCA should we want the flexibility to add in say TRX, kettlebells, etc. and can we program the timing of the exercises? love the idea but want to know more more more BJ!
also-how do you keep your trainers loyal other than the fact that I’m paying them a really really nice fee and teaching them these wonderful systems.
Very interested in Bootcamp Automator! I’ve just expanded inot a neigboring city ANSI need to know where to begin to hiring trainers? Do you think interns from a local college would be a good start?
Hey BJ-
My question is the same as some of the others have posted as to how many workouts will be provided per week/month?
You and I have spoken on the phone before and I think I remember you saying that you run your camps 3 days per week. I run my camps Mon-Fri so I do 5 different workouts per week.
Can’t wait for Bootcamp Automator- I know it will be great like all your other products I own.
John
Will the bootcamp automator be able to be set up for 3 days a week, 4 days a week, or maybe even 5 days a week (options?) or will it be set for three days a week?
Also, will there be options to set it up for all body weight and include other training tools like dumbbells and kettlebells?
Thanks,
Jerry
Hey BJ,
What I need help with is the “Psychology” of hiring another trainer. I am very tight on how professional, organized, and clear I am when giving campers instructions during workouts and I am scared that if I hire another trainer, the workouts won’t run as tight as I like.
In a sense, my boot camp business is my “baby” and I am scared to let someone else take care of it in fear that they will mess it up.
Hey BJ-
Is the Bootcamp Automator just bodyweight exercises?
my campers enjoy all of your other products your tha man

What are some ways that the bootcamp automater will help to sell corporate bootcamps?
Next I have not yet seen pricing. What is the price and what is the reasoning behind that price?
Also, I have an apointment the night of the webinar, is there any way to make it up and still be entered to win a free bc automater?
Thanks,
Chas
What’s Up BJ!
My wife calls me a control freak so I need to know how to let someone else take the reigns and trust that they will train like it is their own business and clients. So I guess a few questions I have are about hiring new trainers:
1) Organizing pay structure of insturctors? Hourly, % based, bonuses for growth and retention, etc.
2) Do you put your trainers on your payroll or are they sub contracted out?
3) Would you require new boot camp instructors to have specific certifications for insurance reasons and make them have their own insurance?
4) Do you suggest rotating trainers at different locations or keep the same ones at the same times and locations to build relationships with your clients.
5) How do you prevent trainers from taking your clients and starting their own boot camp since it’s pretty easy to get a boot camp started these days if you have a few good clients.
Thanks bro!
Ryan
Do you have different music that will be attractive to women in their forties? Many of the women do not care for some of the workout muse music or mechanical voice overs. No offense intended.
David
BJ,
Yet another way you’re revolutionizing the fitness industry and helping us become fitness business professionals instead of just trainers. I’m excited to use this BCA system and not have to get up at 4:30am everyday to teach camps myself but still provide unbelievable results and an experience for my clients. I’m also excited to use this with some corporate camps I’d like to start up!
The question I have is on freedom and flexibility of the BCA program. Does it have the capabilty for me to arrange the order of certain exercises and decide which exercises to do each day? or is it just a set workout that we follow in the order you send it.
Also, I run cardio interval workouts on Tue, and Thur…are there cardio workout options on there also?
And does the BCA have a provided warm-up and cool-down movements available?
Thanks for all you do BJ!
Mike
This looks like a great and timely product.
My questions are:
How do I send the workouts to my instructors?
Cost?
How many programs/workouts have will you have available?
Will you send us a new set of programs/workouts each week or will we pick and choose the workouts from say a library?
Thanks for your products and sharing your marketing info with us. Everything that I have taken from you has only benefited my business.
Adam
How would I go about getting more referrals/clients? All my clients tell me that they don’t have any friends or family that will get up for a 5:30am session. That they came here to workout and meet others like them.
How many workouts do you teach over the course of a phase?
Do you progress boot campers weekly & if so how?
What do you do to gauge nutrition compliance or do you have any systems to gauge nutrition compliance?
Are you & if so what messages are you teaching during your workouts?
Hi BJ!!
I have been using some of the workout muse music in the classes and they are great!! As for the bootcamp automator will it all be downloadable on my computer or will there be dvd’s that I watch?
Also how many workouts will be on there? Or do we just mix and match? I think someone already asked does it come with the music as well?
Okay thanks!! Looking forward to the webinar!
Take Care,
BJ,
Great work on an awesome product! I am seeing a theme in the questions and I am adding to it. Hiring trainers…
What is the biggest lesson you have learned with hiring trainers to run your programs?
Thank you,
Jason Rhymer
Hi, BJ -
Do you use independent contractors or employees? I’m also interested in how you take payments – do you use specialized software, a simple excel file, or paper? Do you have allow trainers handle payments at all or do all checks and credit card payments have to go through you? Thanks.
How do you decide what you will pay your trainers?
Do you require all of your trainers to be certified?
I too was curious about equipment and types of exercises you’ll include.
Karen
BJ
Thank you for the opportunity to learn more about Bootcamp Automator. My question for you is about outdoor vs indoor camps. I find that using Workout Muse indoors works a little better for my clients. Do you discuss how to locate great indoor locations and suggestions on finding low rent in your program?
John
Hey BJ. My #1 question, how do you host and profit a bootcamp in an geographical area where fitness is needed, the desire is there by about 40% of the people but they don’t want to pay. I’ve gone as low as $5 and I’ll get folks to come for about 4 weeks and that’s it. I want to provide the service because I know there are folks who will come I just don’t know if it’s enough to be profitable. Maybe that’s too big of a question.
BJ,
as usual a great product and idea…I can’t wait to find out more about Bootcamp Automator. My question to you is, I’m breaking into the corporate bootcamps and I know this product will save me time and money, will there be other applications beside the iphone that the corporate client can use if they are traveling? Can we use portions of these workouts on our website with your trademark of course for marketing purposes? And most importantly, when does it come out so that I can get started?
Hey,
Interested in starting my own boot camp and was wondering how often they should run 3,4 times a week for 4,5 or 6 weeks. Can you run a boot camp with no or very minimal equipment.
Thanks
Will the workouts have exercises using various equipment, accessories, etc? And if so, what if we don’t have accommodations for lots of kettelbells, TRX, etc.?
What will be the duration of the workouts? Different boot camps can vary from lasting
20 minutes up to an hour in length.
Thanks buddy,
Clint
How will the automator be broken down into levels or is it combined? Or it will be challenging for all clients of different fitness levels?
How do you start a boot camp with minimal equipment or none at all?
Are any WM tracks included with the automator?
