I’m here to tell you it’s not that hard at all. With the simple addition of WorkoutMuse to the video you see above, you’ll be able to get toned arms you can be proud of in just 10 minutes per day. I purposely designed this exercise circuit as a 50-10 (50 seconds of work, 10 seconds of rest) because of the effectiveness my clients have experienced through 50-10 Workout Muse soundtracks.
Really, all you’re going to have to do is choose your favorite kind of workout music, stop and start the video, and go nuts! This is all about intensity, though, so don’t be surprised if it doesn’t work if you’re having a conversation while at the gym. We’re talking about perfect form, but moving with the interval training music. That’s the key!
You see, most people don’t even have the same heart rate response when listening to workout music – my wife, for example, can tolerate up to 50% more intensity for a given heart rate when listening to techno. Granted, she loves music, more than most I know… but you can do the same in time. Start listening to your favorite track, let the music work for you, and let this NBC video be your path to amazingly beautiful arms in no time flat!
Corporate Fitness Boot Camps Featuring Workout Muse Interval Training Music
By Greg Justice, MA
Corporate Boot Camps are getting a lot of attention these days, with good reason. On a weekly basis I get questions from trainers about the best way to break into the corporate market. There are several considerations when beginning, so I’ll focus on them one by one. This blog post will compare the regular boot camp environment with a corporate boot camp environment.
Regular boot camps are usually run outside in a park, or a big open gym area where the instructor can yell, scream and motivate with reckless abandon. If you tried that in a corporate setting, you would probably get thrown out before your first “Drop and give me 20” command. Don’t get me wrong, you still have to bring the same energy, passion and enthusiasm; it just has to be done in a controlled manner.
I have been running successful fitness bootcamps for over three years, but it wasnít until the last four months I have really hit hyperdrive with taking my business to the next level. Clients loved the workouts and loved the atmosphere we provided not to mention the results. But I felt there was still some room for improvement within our format.
I was first introduced to Workout Muse soundtracks over a year ago and I must admit my first thought was that this wasnít something that was going to work for anyone let alone for my bootcamps. So I would continue to try and find a cd in my own collection or take time out of my busy schedule to make a cd that had a lot of songs I liked. The response was always mixed by my clients; some liked it some didnít. And over time that cd would get old and we would have to find or make another cd with more variety.
I knew something had to change, but I was still very resistant to Workout Muse. I used the tracks in my own workouts for my interval training but found it very difficult to infuse it into the workouts I had set for my bootcamps. The timing was off or I just couldnít get it to work with some of the workouts. Well, who am I kidding, I didnít want to put the work into formatting my workouts to the tracks, that was the real reason.
I think it was after the tenth or eleventh time BJ talked about Workout Muse and demonstrated it in action, that the light bulb finally went off. I was at a conference with BJ and quickly jotted down some notes for later reference. I was going to make these tracks work.
The automation these tracks provide are priceless. No more making cdís that people arenít going to like anyway, and I have variety with the soundtrack genres. I also have some workouts I donít use Workout Muse and that creates even more variety with our music selection.
Here’s a recent video of one of our classes using Workout Muse’s Boot Camp Dynamite. Check out the automation it does for you as an instructor; no watching a stopwatch, no counting reps, no keeping track of rounds completed. Just focused on coaching your clients. Here’s Bootcamp Dynamite in action:
Station 1: Rows
Station 2: Push ups
Station 3: Kettlebell Swings
Station 4: Burpees
Station 5: Goblet Squats
We did three rounds, resting for one minute after each round.
If you aren’t using Workout Muse in any capacity, take it from a stubborn trainer, the sooner you implement it, the sooner your business will grow, because you will be able to focus your precious time on activities that are going to build your business not have you running in circles.

You know one of the easiest ways to set up a boot camp interval workout to music is by using Alternate Resistance Band Partner training in conjunction with interval training music. The set up takes seconds and the interval workout music literally takes the campers through the workout while creating incredible workout energy.
Here is how you do it:
Choose 2 exercises that work opposite movements (Vertical push and Vertical pull or alternating sides using a unilateral exercise like lunges) and than put your camp into teams of 2 or 4 people.
Split the group in half and instruct half the group to do one exercise while the other half does the other exercise. The interval workout music will tell them when to switch. Literally I instruct my campers on what they need in resistance bands, demo the exercise and click on the Workout Muse workout music.
Examples of some great resistance band alternate partner workouts.
1. High Pull – Front Squat
2. Push Press – Hammer Curl
3. Split squat right – Split squat left
All of these workouts use attachment free resistance band set ups so all you need is space, a single resistance band per person, and some motivated campers to get after it.
Take a look at a recent camp I did using alternate partner training in conjunction with workout muse 20-10 Tabatas.

This phrase is probably familiar to most throughout athletic training facilities around the world. I know it was in mine until I got the best interval workout music available today, Workout Muse. That phrase has now been replaced by excitement whenever my athletes know that I am about to blast Workout Muse over the stereo. Well, excitement and groans because they know that they are about to get the interval conditioning workout of their lives.
There is no more boring, monotonous pushing the sled down and back. Instead, that has been replaced with conditioning workouts that are challenging and focused on training specific movements that are necessary to become dominating athletes. With hardcore interval training music going in the background I am free to coach technique, instead of looking at a timer and the athlete is able to get a more applicable, intense workout.
This conditioning workout consists of 5 exercises.

It’s been about a week and a half since the tragic passing of pop music icon Michael Jackson.
Yet in the wake of his recent passing, his music is now just as, if not more, popular than ever.
Yep, sometimes you just don’t know what you’ve got ’til it’s gone.
Over here at Workout Muse, immediately upon hearing of Michael’s untimely death, Topher and I got on the phone about doing a special Workout Muse MJ tribute soundtrack.
Now- it wasn’t easy to replicate the sound and music of the world’s greatest entertainer of all time.
Especially considering that what made Michael Jackson’s songs so good were… well… Michael Jackson and his unmatched artisty and style.
If you listened to the instrumentals of many of Michael’s songs, as a standalone the music really wasn’t all that hot to be honest about it.
But as soon as MJ started “sanging” it was game over, from the “he he’s” to the “jam ons” Michael made each song soar.
Topher has put together a really cool FREE 4-Minute 20-10 Tabatas download inspired by the music of Michael Jackson.
The focus of the soundtrack was to really go back to Michael’s Motown days where it all started, so the track features a lot of funk and has a really nice disco feel to it as well.
And though the track isn’t a head banger like most of the Workout Muse soundtracks, it’s incredibly well done and a great change of pace to your typical hard core workout music.
I have used it for both my own personal workouts and with my boot campers and it officially gets my full stamp of approval for a kick ass workout track!

Please share this blog post and this download with all of your friends and family- especially all the MJ fans you know out there.
In addition, please be sure to post a comment to this blog to let us know what you think and if you would be interested in us making some more MJ workout muse soundtracks in the future. They certainly won’t be free like this one, but we aim to please and we’ll make whatever soundtracks our beloved audience responds to best.
In addition, it isn’t practical nor cost effective to try to gain reproduction rights for Michael’s music. That’s why we’re built a track inspired by Michael Jackson as an alternative and a special gift to you… ENJOY!
